Cloud Network Engineer

In this highly-visible role, you will design and implement secure, cost-effective, cloud-computing solutions utilizing industry-standard, cloud security controls/best practices to empower the enterprise and optimize performance.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, test, deploy, and maintain cost-effective cloud resources/tools
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulation and requirements
• Validate correct configuration/security controls.
• Investigate, mitigate, and respond/correct risk.
• Document controls and cross-train teams to drive enterprise compliance.
• Establish evaluation metrics to analyze, improve, and drive performance
• Collaborate cross-functionally with enterprise teams to ensure infrastructure is well managed and maintained.
• Prepare and present regular updates and reports to Executive Leadership team on network metrics, performance, costs, and cost reduction opportunities.
• Other duties, responsibilities as required

JOB REQUIREMENTS / EXPERIENCE

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• Solid, demonstrated experience in infrastructure design/network engineering with strong attention to detail and a strong focus on security/HIPAA compliance and industry standard safeguards.
• Able to properly deploy enterprise tools/services that enable enterprise workforce to excel. Able to design secure network infrastructure supported by strategic roadmap, monitored and updated as needed, supported with enterprise policies, procedures designed to safeguard enterprise assets.
• Able to monitor, investigate, mitigate security risks and incidents.
• Strong knowledge in security compliance SOC2, GDPR, ISO 27001.
